Senior Quality Assurance Analyst for Insurance Auto Auctions, Inc. in Westchester, IL. Assess and decompose requirements for the purpose of creating test cases. Develop clear and easy to follow test cases for the purpose of measuring software quality and compliance to business requirements and application design. Create and manage test data as needed. Properly document testing issues to aid others in the quick and efficient remediation of the issue. Create and maintain automation scripts leveraging SeeTest or equivalent automation tool. Execute regression test suite, keep it current with new functionality, and remove redundant testing. Support user acceptance testing as necessary. Conduct Manual Quality Assurance. Run SQL queries to create or edit test data as well as to expect the desired results from stored procedures. Collect and report testing status to the team leadership, as necessary. Use the TOSCA Automation tool to execute the test cases daily. Run web services/SOAP/Rest Services to execute APIs using postman. Conduct Data Transfers between applications in Json and XML formats. Support the establishment and maintenance of a test case repository. Become a Subject Matter Expert (SME) by developing deep application and business knowledge. Uphold and contribute to testing best practices as defined by the QA Leadership. Hybrid employment. Must be able to report to office as needed.
Must possess a Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or any technology or computer related field and 3 years of experience as a quality assurance analyst, or any occupation in quality assurance analysis; or requires a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or any technology or computer related field and 5 years of experience as a quality assurance analyst, or any occupation in quality assurance analysis. Must possess a minimum of 3 years of experience (with Master’s) or 5 years (with Bachelor’s) with each of the following: Manual Quality Assurance; and SQL queries. Additionally, must have 1 year of experience with the following: TOSCA Automation Tool experience; SeeTest or equivalent automation tool like Selenium; Web services/SOAP/Rest services (Postman); and Data transfer between applications in Json and XML format. Hybrid employment. Must be able to report to office as needed.
