The Director, Digital Product Analytics position directs the strategy, development, and delivery of product analytics capabilities across digital product experiences. This role encompasses optimization testing, business analysis and insights, tagging, privacy compliance, and analytics reporting activities designed to drive product insights. The purpose of this role is to generate insights that help improve user experiences, increase revenue and ultimately grow the donor file.
The Director, Digital Product Analytics will have strong leadership and analytical skills along with significant experience in product analytics, optimization testing, and digital fundraising best practices, along with familiarity of data privacy trends and impacts to traffic and first-party data. This position is responsible for performing the full spectrum of analytic functions for projects and programs of all complexity levels, including those with senior management visibility. This role partners with digital product, marketing, patient support, and IT leadership teams to provide strategic guidance for digital product analytics to drive strategic decisions and enhance customer experiences.
MAJOR REPONSIBILITIES
Develop and implement a strategic vision for digital product analytics, ensuring alignment with the organization’s mission and objectives.
Leads team in proactively exploring digital business needs using advanced tools and techniques to perform complex analyses that address relevant business questions.
Lead a team responsible for the management, execution, and implementation of our core digital product analytics functions such as reporting, insights, tagging, and optimization.
Oversee the implementation and maintenance of data privacy measures on digital product experiences to ensure adherence to data privacy regulations.
Collaborate with product managers to define key performance indicators (KPIs) and establish measurable goals for product optimization.
Design and maintain dashboards and reports using advanced analytics tools to track KPIs, monitor performance metrics, provide actionable insights and drive continuous improvement.
Lead A/B testing and multivariate analysis to evaluate the impact of product changes and inform decision making.
Identify areas for improvement in product features, user flows, and conversion funnels through rigorous analysis of user feedback and data.
Provide strategic guidance on prioritizing product development initiatives based on data-driven insights and business impact.
Manages day-to-day vendor relationships to ensure strong partnership and organizational success.
Collaborate with senior leadership in the effective integration of donation strategies into primary business strategies.
Stay current on industry trends, data privacy compliance, emerging technologies, and best practices in digital analytics to continuously improve our analytics capabilities.
Manages a team of product analysts, nurturing a collaborative and innovative culture, and promoting the growth and development of team members.
KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS
FORMAL KNOWLEDGE
Bachelor’s degree in in a quantitative field such as Mathematics, Statistics, Business Intelligence, Qualitative Analysis, or related field required.
8+ years of digital product analytics experience preferably at a strategic level built upon practical application of digital marketing tools and services.
Proven experience in data analytics, with a focus on predictive modeling, statistical analysis, and data visualization

SPECIALIZED TRAINING OR KNOWLEDGE:
6+ years advanced data analytics knowledge and high proficiency with reporting/visualization tools, including, Power BI, Tableau, Google Analytics, Data Studio, and Excel.
Deep experience with A/B testing design and analysis.
In-depth experience developing KPIs Must have ability to decipher trends and impacts from data tracking, analysis and forecasting reports to make strategic recommendations accordingly.
Understanding of the technical building blocks and processes necessary to delivery effective digital product analytics and insights.
Demonstrated experience transforming and curating large datasets into predictive models that directly inform and/or enable quantifiable business action, either by providing insights, or building analytics applications.
SPECIAL MENTAL OR PHYSICAL DEMANDS
Ability to work some evenings and weekends.
No or very limited physical effort required.
Some travel may be required on as-needed basis.
The starting rate is $102,000 to $125,000 annual. The final candidate's relevant experience/skills will be considered before an offer is extended. Actual starting pay will vary based on non-discriminatory factors including, but not limited to, geographic location, experience, skills, specialty, and education.
