What You Will Do

Join our team as a Technical Systems Engineer, where you'll champion Panduit solutions for key accounts and pivotal opportunities. Collaborate closely with our sales teams to uncover, cultivate, and finalize strategic prospects. Your expertise in Panduit’s offerings and associated technologies will keep you at the forefront of industry advancements.

Forge strong technical relationships with stakeholders at critical accounts, positioning yourself as a trusted advisor. As a TSE, you'll bridge the gap between end-users, consultants, and Panduit, ensuring seamless technical alignment and superior client satisfaction.

  • Develop solutions to address customer needs effectively.
  • Analyze problems, gather data, and document solutions conclusively.
  • Provide technical support to colleagues and customers.
  • Interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
  • Engage engineers and specifiers to secure Panduit specifications for regional projects.
  • Quickly summarize and communicate customer needs under pressure, both verbally and in writing.
  • Explain the benefits of centrally designed solution components to end-users.
  • Apply knowledge of relevant codes and standards to field installation of Panduit products.

What You Will Bring

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering required, or relevant equivalent experience in the electrical industry in lieu of degree.
  • 5-7 years of directly related experience in the electrical/automation/data comm industry.
  • 3-5 years of experience related to distribution channel, integrators, contractors, end users and/or OEM’s.
  • Experience calling on engineering consultants for design and specification work.
  • Excellent communicator of technical topics to technical and non-technical audience including presentations to large groups of people.
  • Strong technical experience within market and relevant industry experience/certifications.
  • Ability to learn quickly and maintain knowledge of a wide portfolio of products and solutions; act as the technical expert in 2-5 product sets within their focus area.
  • Be self-motivated and willing to learn and embrace new technology via self-teaching as well as formal training.
  • Electrical experience - Manufacturer, end user, electrical, rep agent experience preferred.
