We are currently seeking a VP, Strategy in our Los Angeles office to join our expanding Social Media team. This team is responsible for creating and managing innovative social media brand strategies and RFP proposals for our clients. The VP, Strategy will act as a senior thought leader on the DMM Senior Leadership team - collaborating across departments, creating strategic partnership with a slate of clients and building comprehensive social media marketing strategies and proposals.
We are looking for someone who has extensive experience in creating buy-in and leading social media campaigns. Successful candidates must have eight to ten years of experience in the social media space.
Your Impact Lead a team of senior strategists, building best-in-class social media strategies and strategic consultation to clientsWork with client leads at DMM to build winning pitches for incoming RFPs to secure new business for various departmentsEnsures strategic deliverables connect through a central storytelling narrative that aligns with the clients, business goals and objectivesAct as a senior thought leader and stakeholder at DMM, collaborating across the senior leadership team to infuse innovation, education, and experience that elevates and evolves DMM’s client solutionsAct as an executive level strategic partner for clients to devise and implement new and novel strategic opportunitiesShows proficiency and mastery of the digital landscape, possessing a strong awareness of the latest trends and updates across platformsOversees the development and refinement of DMM’s overall strategic POVs for all digital and social services including best-practice recommendations for platform and social updates that power our internal teams and client campaign decisions Digests and analyzes social media insights and data to make informed strategic decisionsYour Experience 8-10 years of experience in the social media and digital spaceRetain a strong understanding and knowledge of various dimensions of social marketing: social platforms, community management, influencer marketing, social creative, etc. Ability to manage senior team members, providing guidance and growthAbility to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environmentStrong presentation and/or public speaking skillsAdvanced proficiency in building decks via Google Slides or other programsKnowledge of the entertainment landscape in some form: Games, TV, Film, Podcast, Brand etc. Experience working with Video Games is a plusAbility to collaborate and work as part of a team Your Availability Must be available M-F: 9am-6pm PST Company culture you ask?
