Job Description:
Cambria is looking for a motivated sales and relationship-driven individual in San Francisco, CA to help grow our business within the Residential A&D and Retail community. The candidate is responsible for developing, cultivating, and growing Cambria sales throughout the assigned territory. They are expected to provide a superior standard of service that influences their specifications and prioritizes the path to purchase for continued growth that builds meaningful relationships.
Successful candidates must reside in the greater San Francisco area, be able to work out of their home, and call on customers throughout their assigned territory.
Sell Cambria by educating and representing the brand and product to cultivate relationships.
Prospect and conduct outreach via phone, email, and in-person events to generate new business relationships as you grow existing relationships.
Plan and schedule sales calls with residential architects, interior designers, and retailers through Product Knowledge presentations, CEUs, NDL presentations, library updates, and project meetings
As the SME (Subject Matter Expert), coach, mentor, and support colleagues on your team on best practices.
Actively use all social media channels Cambria participates in to promote the brand and product.
Collaborate with other team members whose business partners can influence the specifications of designers, architects, and retailers to collect and update Residential project information.
Accurately collect and update customer information through Salesforce
Maintain a high level of business, financial, and industry expertise so you can advise clients and partners effectively in ways that benefit both their business and Cambria
Network and drive sales, actively participate in related industry associations.
Be available to meet with customers sometimes outside regular business hours.
Develop quarterly and annual territory sales plans to direct efforts and calibrate progress with your District Managers.
Identify and participate in appropriate trade shows to increase brand recognition.
Actively participate in related industry associations, such as ASID, ICAA, AIA, IDS, and NKBA, through attending events and joining advisory councils and boards to develop relationships and increase awareness of the Cambria brand.
Maintain and submit business expenses in a timely manner each month.
Qualifications & Skills:
Sales experience in the (B2B) architectural, design, and retail industry is required
Strong business knowledge and financial acumen
Proven track record of being customer-focused with a professional demeanor
Ability to build strong professional relationships and proven track records in sales
Solid organizational and follow-up skills
Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to work independently
Minimum Requirements:
Education: Bachelor’s degree preferred
Experience: Minimum of (5) years of experience in business-to-business (B2B) sales, with at least (2) years spent in the residential architectural and design field
Systems: Proficient in Microsoft (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Google (Docs, Sheets, Slides) suites of software, Concur and Salesforce preferred.
Additional Requirements:
Travel Requirements: 90% local travel to customers. Remaining 10% is to trade shows, associations and trips to Minnesota for training. Must have the ability to work extended hours, evenings, overnights and weekends. Must hold a valid Driver’s License.
Physical Requirements: Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds to deliver samples and trade show materials.
This position will be provided with a company vehicle, based on fleet availability, or mileage reimbursement in lieu.
