Job Summary:
An Activation Representative in our Customer Boarding Department is the first point of contact with our newly approved merchants, providing them with the first impression of North American Bancard. This position is responsible for training merchants on various payment processing systems with the goal of activating the merchant account, which historically our activation efforts resulted in more than 80% activation rate. This position requires an energetic, solution solving individual who can provide our merchants with step by step installation assistance for various processing equipment, walk through of equipment capabilities and functions, Payments HUB setup and training, technical support and troubleshooting, and provide merchants with support resources. This position will play a key role in securing revenue and building customer loyalty.

What you'll do:

  • Contact newly approved merchants and provide them step by step installation assistance for terminals, POS systems, and software
  • Verify that the payment processing system and key functions are properly installed and programmed to process the first transaction
  • Engage with Senior Activation Representative to help troubleshoot technical issues
  • Payments HUB setup and training
  • Schedule phone appointments for merchant installation assistance and follow up
  • Perform end to end activation process for upgrade conversion work
  • Ability to learn and understand applicable processing equipment, software and services that the organization offers

Salary: $18.50 per hour
