The Job in a Nutshell💡

The Cybersecurity Manager oversees the development, implementation, and management of the organization's cybersecurity strategy, ensuring the protection of IT systems, networks, and sensitive data against cyber threats. The cyber security Manager will support the compliance with processes and policies related to cybersecurity standards set by regulators such as SAMA.

What you will do💡

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive cybersecurity strategy aligned with the company’s business objectives.
  • Evaluate emerging security technologies and recommend investments to enhance the organization's security posture.
  • Identify, assess, and mitigate cybersecurity risks and vulnerabilities across the IT infrastructure.
  • Conduct regular risk assessments and penetration tests to ensure the effectiveness of security measures.
  • Establish and oversee incident response procedures, including detection, investigation, and resolution of security breaches.
  • Coordinate with internal teams and external vendors during incidents to minimize impact and restore operations.
  • Lead the technical compliance efforts with regulators like SAMA and NCA.
  • Conduct regular security audits and ensure adherence to best practices.
  • Lead and mentor a team of cybersecurity professionals, including analysts, engineers, and consultants.
  • Facilitate training sessions to improve security awareness across the organization.
  • Manage security tools and technologies, such as firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, endpoint protection, and SIEM solutions.
  • Monitor security systems and proactively identify and address potential threats.
  • Work closely with IT, legal, and compliance teams to address security requirements in projects and systems.
  • Act as a liaison with law enforcement and regulatory agencies in the event of a cybersecurity incident.

What Are We Looking For❓

    • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. A Master’s degree is a plus.
    • 5+ years of experience in cybersecurity, with at least 2 years in a managerial role.
    • Proven track record of successfully managing cybersecurity programs in an IT environment.
    • Strong knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks such as NIST, ISO 27001, or CIS Controls.
    • Expertise in threat analysis, vulnerability management, and incident response.
    • Familiarity with security tools (e.g., SIEM, IDS/IPS, firewalls).
    • Some or all of the following Certifications: Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), Security+, ISO 27001 lead implementer, Systems Security Certified Practitioner (SSCP)
    • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
    • Strong leadership and team management skills.
    • Effective communication skills to convey technical issues to non-technical stakeholders.
