Job description

Builder Finance Portfolio Manager

United Community is in search of a Builder Finance Portfolio Manager to join our team. As a Builder Finance Portfolio Manager, you'll deliver financial, industry, and economic analyses to support decision-making and ensure compliance with credit policies and regulations. You'll analyze client performance, manage credit quality, and contribute to due diligence and credit approval processes. Additionally, you'll work on underwriting, portfolio management, and streamlining portfolio management procedures.

 

What You’ll Do: 

  • Evaluate client performance and financial health, ensuring credit quality and data integrity.
  • Provide financial, industry, and economic analyses, contributing to due diligence and credit approvals.
  • Ensure compliance with credit policies and regulations, identifying and mitigating risks.
  • Underwrite financial information, manage annual reviews, and maintain loan agreement integrity.
  • Foster professional and community connections to enhance the bank's visibility and network.

 

Required Skills/Experience: 

  • 5 – 10 years of solid experience in financial analysis, structuring, underwriting, and portfolio management.
  •  Extensive understanding of credit and non-credit services, as well as credit-related regulations.
  • Strong ability to build and maintain working relationships with customers, referral sources, bank presidents, and bankers.
  • Proficiency in loan documentation and credit underwriting.
  • Excellent organizational and verbal/written communication skills.

 

Preferred Skills/Experience:

  • BS or BA degree.
  • Broad understanding of all credit-related functions and divisions within a bank.
  • Ability to maximize working relationships with direct reports and across the holding company.
  •  Active participation in community activities to enhance the bank's visibility and network for new business opportunities.
