The Global Cybersecurity Manager is responsible for overseeing and administering the strategic execution of our enterprise risk management program.
Essential Job Functions:
Program Management
Develop, manage, track, and report on the progress of the cybersecurity program in alignment with our adopted security frameworks.
Lead project management efforts for cybersecurity initiatives, ensuring timely and on-budget delivery.
Compliance and Risk Management
Oversee cybersecurity compliance management activities to ensure adherence to legal and regulatory requirements.
Conduct regular security assessments and audits to baseline and improve the company’s cybersecurity posture.
Collaboration and Vendor Management
Collaborate with IT and business units to integrate cybersecurity measures into operational processes and product development.
Oversee and manage cybersecurity solutions and services from vendors, including but not limited to any third-party cybersecurity suppliers.
Threat Intelligence and Incident Response Management
Manage threat intelligence and protection strategies to safeguard against potential security breaches.
Coordinate incident response planning and execution, including the development of response strategies and communication plans.
Responsible for managing/retaining cybersecurity incident documentation available on request.
Performance Measurement and Improvement
Implement and improve Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and Service Level Agreements (SLAs) to measure and enhance the cybersecurity program’s effectiveness.
Serve as a subject matter expert on cybersecurity trends and best practices, providing guidance and training to staff and stakeholders.
Committed to continuous education to stay informed on changing cybersecurity risks and needs.
Qualifications:
A Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field is required. A Master's degree is preferred.
Professional cybersecurity certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or equivalent are necessary.
A minimum of 5 years of experience in a cybersecurity role, with at least 2 years in a managerial capacity.
Proven experience in developing and managing cybersecurity programs.
Strong understanding of the NIST framework and other industry-standard cybersecurity practices.
Excellent project management skills with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
Exceptional communication and leadership skills, capable of leading cross-functional teams.
Experience in the manufacturing industry is a plus.
