Theoria’s Human Resources Department is seeking individuals to join its team to support its expansion and assist with staffing onboarding and offboarding.

Job Description

We are seeking a VP of Credentialing to oversee all aspects of credentialing within Theoria medical. This includes ensuring that all credentialing requirements for new employees and existing employees are up to date and current. This involves maintaining up-to-date knowledge of applicable laws, licensing standards, and professional requirements.This executive role demands a strategic leader capable of leading and managing a team of credentialing professionals, providing guidance, mentorship, and performance oversight to ensure high standards of work.

Shift Structure

  • Monday-Friday 9 AM to 5 PM EST

Essential Functions & Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement strategies related to the credentialing process, ensuring that the organization's goals align with regulatory standards, accreditation requirements, and industry best practices.
  • Oversee the onboarding credentialing process for new employees 
  • Oversee the COI and collaboration agreement process for medical providers 
  • Oversee the continuous improvement of credentialing systems and processes to ensure efficiency, accuracy, and timely processing. This can include adopting new technologies and automating workflows where possible.
  •  Serve as a liaison between different departments, ensuring effective communication of credentialing needs and updates. This may include working with human resources, legal, compliance, and clinical teams in healthcare organizations.
  • Manage relationships with external partners to ensure that every partner has all required credentialing information 

Requirements and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Minimum of 10 years experience in credentialing, with significant leadership experience in the healthcare sector.
  • Proven success in developing and executing recruitment strategies that meet organizational goals.
  • Strong leadership skills, with the ability to inspire and guide a team towards excellence.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Strategic thinker with a data-driven approach to decision-making.
