This is a remote opportunity, covering Central US territory, near a major airport with frequent travel involved.
Your role:
The Account Executive II is responsible for collaborating, cultivating, adoption, and overall success between the customer and Ingram Micro. A strategic mindset is needed to apply skills and focus on influencing decision makers, aligning offerings (services, products, and platform) to the needs of the customer, removing barriers to enable customer adoption, and turning actionable feedback into lasting value.
The Account Executive II builds and expands strategic relationships with customers by educating and selling solutions, programs, products, and services that drive a profitable mix. Strong skills are acquired through advanced training, study, and experience. The role involves executing on account strategies to accomplish financial and business objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Creates strategic plans that enhance reseller go-to-market growth initiatives and strategies.
- Maintains contact with an account at a high, executive level, focusing on the strategic nature of the relationship.
- Generates revenue, drives profit and advance market-share by positioning and selling Ingram's products.
- Manages assigned accounts to create strategic plans that enhance reseller go-to-market growth, initiatives, and strategies.
- Generates revenue, drives profit and advances market-share by positioning and selling Ingram's products, programs, and services.
What you bring to the role:
- A four-year college degree (or additional experience in a related field) and at least 5 years public sector experience.
- Government security clearance preferred.
- Strong understanding of strategic selling principles, order management, project management, and operations
- Advanced knowledge of Ingram Micro’s solutions, products, services, and value proposition
- Proven success in growing and maintaining year-over-year sales results.
- Skilled in negotiations, closing sales, coaching associates in high-performance culture, and order management.
- Effectively able to manage profit and loss concepts and forecasting.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, ability to present in both technical and non- technical terms to large and small audiences.
- Ability to: demonstrate business and financial acumen, use influence effectively to drive ideas and initiatives with internal and external partners, multi-task, respond to rapid change, manage projects, manage detail, manage relationships and resources, and set realistic and achievable goals/objectives and timelines.
- Ability to travel is required - conduct in person customer engagements on a regular basis.
- Skilled in customer experience/service and solutions-oriented mindset.

The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $91,300.00 - $155,200.00 per year.
The ranges above reflect the potential annual base pay across the U.S. for all roles; the applicable base pay range will depend on the candidate’s primary work location, pay grade, and variable compensation plan. Individual base pay within each range depends on various factors, in addition to primary work location, such as complexity and responsibility of role, job duties/requirements, and relevant experience and skills. Base pay ranges are reviewed and typically updated each year. Offers are made within the base pay range applicable at the time of hire. New hires starting base pay generally falls in the bottom half (between the minimum and midpoint) of a pay range.
At Ingram Micro certain roles are eligible for additional rewards, including merit increases, annual bonus or sales incentives and long-term incentives. These awards are allocated based on position level and individual performance.
