Summary of Job Duties:
The Childcare Technician works under the supervision of the Earl Love Child Student Center Director and is responsible for providing direct care for toddlers and pre-school children. This position is governed by institution policy. Earle Love Child Study Center is open year-round from 7:00 a.m. to 5:15 p.m.
JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:
Develops and directs engaging recreational and learning activities for pre-school aged children
Teaches and provides personal care to children such as but not limited to feeding, clothing, and personal hygiene.
Maintains classroom to the AR Minimum Licensing and Better Beginnings standards.
Maintains records concerning daily activities and personal progress of pre-school children as directed.
Aids in the cleaning and upkeep of facility in areas such as but not limited to laundry, kitchen, classrooms, etc…
Performing related responsibilities as required or assigned.
Qualifications:
Other job-related education and/or experience may be substituted for all or part of the minimum qualifications upon approval of the Chancellor.
