Job description

Corcept is leading the way in the research and development of cortisol modulators, molecules that regulate cortisol activity at the glucocorticoid receptor (GR). To date, we have discovered more than 1,000 selective proprietary cortisol modulators.

In 2012, we received FDA approval of Korlym® (mifepristone), the first approved treatment for hypercortisolism (Cushing’s syndrome).

Today, our team and collaborators continue to unlock the possibilities of cortisol modulation as a way to treat serious diseases. With more than 30 ongoing studies across a wide range of disease areas, including endocrinology, oncology, metabolism, and neurology, we remain dedicated to advancing the possibilities of cortisol modulation.

What began as a ripple of scientific truth is now poised to unleash a sea change of discovery representing a fundamental shift in the way we understand and treat disease.

  • Lead HCP content development across DSE and brand materials – including core visual aid, websites, presentations, testimonial videos, case studies, etc. – ensuring alignment with all legal, regulatory and compliance guidelines (e.g., PRC submissions and approvals), and management across personal and digital channels
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional stakeholders including Sales, Commercial Data & Analytics, Medical Affairs, Market Access, Legal, Regulatory and Compliance teams to ensure marketing initiatives align with Commercial objectives and brand strategy
  • Define research objectives, priorities, and develop stimuli in collaboration with the Commercial Data & Analytics team in market research, to gain insights into the oncology market, oncologist behaviors, treatment trends and competitive landscape, leveraging insights in strategic marketing initiatives
  • Build relationships with key oncology stakeholders in collaboration with the Thought Leader Engagement team, including oncologists, oncology nurses, and professional organizations, to enhance engagement efforts
  • Develop and track key performance indicators (KPIs) for HCP engagement and market traction, using data-driven insights to refine strategies and enhance campaign effectiveness
  • Partner closely with Sales and Commercial Training teams to develop and implement tools and materials that support field sales initiatives, ensuring materials meet sales needs for HCP engagement
  • Coordinate with the Promotional Review Committee (PRC), ensuring timely review and approval of HCP promotional and educational materials within legal, regulatory and compliance standards
  • Develop executive presentations for key internal stakeholders, translating insights into strategic marketing recommendations
  • Oversee relationships with agency partners, support Marketing strategy and execute priority tactics, and ensure timely delivery in a launch setting.  Responsibilities include annual budget planning, monthly reconciliation, and reallocating resources as necessary
