Here’s what that would mean for you in the Vice President of Federal Sales role.
Care: You’ll lead Kyruus Health’s efforts to grow within this space, working closely with system integrators, expanding established contracts, and building strategic partnerships with organizations like WellHive, TriWest, and other federal contractors.
Driven: You’ll lead execution of developing and implementing a growth strategy to grow the federal book of business from $4-5M ARR to upwards of $20M ARR, particularly by pursuing new contracts and expanding existing relationships.
Respect: Collaborate with internal teams (Marketing, Product, Sales Operations) to align goals, refine product offerings, and ensure strategic alignment on federal healthcare initiatives.
Accountable: You’ll be responsible for expanding Kyruus' presence within federal healthcare systems and payer organizations.
What you will do in a Vice President, Federal Sales role at Kyruus Health:You’ll be key in advancing reach within the federal government, scaling current opportunities, and contributing to a growing sales team, with an individual contributor role that focuses heavily on new business acquisition and relationship management. You’ll focus on securing and managing significant federal contracts, such as with the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), the Department of Defense (DoD), and active-duty healthcare benefits. You’ll bring a deep understanding of federal healthcare procurement, including the complexities of long sales cycles and regulatory compliance. You’ll cultivate long-term relationships within federal agencies, veteran service organizations, system integrators, and partner organizations to navigate procurement processes and ensure long-term contract success. You’ll own Federal Contract Expansion through the build on current VA Community Connect scheduling contracts and strategic partnerships with Leidos and Oracle Cerner to drive substantial contract expansion and improve service offerings. You’ll report to the Chief Revenue Officer in the Sales Department within the Federal Sales Division. What you will bring: Experience in Federal Sales: 10+ years of experience in sales or business development, specifically in federal healthcare or payer sales with a demonstrated understanding of complex, government-regulated environments. Track Record of Scaling Revenue: Proven experience driving federal accounts from single-digit ARR to substantial multi-million-dollar revenue, with expertise in navigating long sales cycles and complex contract negotiations. Knowledge of Federal Procurement: In-depth understanding of federal contracting, GSA schedules, FAR/DFARS compliance, and large-scale RFI/RFP submissions. Strong Analytical and Strategic Thinking: Ability to interpret and use data to inform strategy and drive decision-making; skilled in managing data and analytics for effective account planning and forecasting. Independent and Goal-Driven: A “super hunter” capable of working autonomously with a draw-based compensation structure and a focus on generating new business while leveraging existing contracts.
Preferred Skills:
Existing network within Federal and Payer Markets: Established relationships with key stakeholders in federal healthcare organizations, including VA, DoD, and associated contractors. Understanding of SaaS in Healthcare: Familiarity with digital health trends, provider data management, and end-to-end care solutions in the Federal healthcare space. Experience with Competitors: Knowledge of the competitive landscape, including companies like Loyal and Phreesia, and an understanding of how Kyruus Health’s offerings differentiate in the Federal and Payer sectors. Compensation Information:Base pay range: $173,000 - 212,000/yearOther Compensation: In addition to your salary, this position is also eligible for a variable incentive, equity, and benefits.
