Collaborating with our product, marketing, and sales teams, you'll play a pivotal role in positioning Ox Security as a leader in application security while fostering meaningful connections within the industry. By championing our vision, you’ll help organizations across the US rethink and reshape their approach to securing applications.

Responsibilities

  • Community Leadership: Represent Ox Security across the US at conferences, meetups, webinars, podcasts, and on social media platforms, becoming a trusted voice in the AppSec and developer communities.
  • Thought Leadership: Create and deliver engaging content, including blog posts, whitepapers, technical guides, and presentations, positioning Ox as a leader in Active AppSec.
  • Customer Advocacy: Partner with customers to understand their pain points, successes, and use cases, sharing these insights to drive product improvements and inspire adoption.
  • Market Education: Educate developers, AppSec managers, and CISOs on Ox Security’s value proposition, focusing on actionable strategies for securing the software development lifecycle (SDLC).
  • Strategic Partnerships: Build relationships with influencers, thought leaders, and organizations to amplify Ox Security’s vision and expand its reach in the AppSec and cybersecurity industries.
  • Event Representation: Deliver impactful talks and demonstrations at industry conferences, webinars, and other key events to showcase Ox’s leadership in application security.
  • Content Creation: Develop educational materials, such as demo videos, tutorials, and case studies, to empower users and highlight Ox’s unique value.

Requirements

Experience:

  • 2+ years in application security and at least 5 in cybersecurity.
  • Proven track record of building relationships within technical communities and delivering engaging presentations.
  • Advantage: Experience in developer advocacy or a related technical field.

Skills:

  • Strong public speaking and communication skills, capable of engaging technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Exceptional technical writing abilities with a knack for simplifying complex topics.

Knowledge:

  • Deep understanding of application security challenges, tools, and frameworks.
  • Familiarity with SDLC processes and the evolving role of AI in application security.

Mindset:

  • Passionate about bridging the gap between developers and security teams.
  • A strategic thinker with a customer-first mentality and a drive to make an impact.

Technical Acumen:

  • Hands-on experience with AppSec tools and practices.
  • Comfortable discussing technical architectures and best practices with developers and security professionals.

Network:

  • Strong connections within the AppSec, cybersecurity, or developer communities are a plus.

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, cybersecurity, or a related field is preferred.

The bottom line is that you’ll work alongside passionate professionals who are committed to making a real difference, both within our company and across the cybersecurity landscape.
