What You Will Do:
Collaborates with cross-functional team of program management, scrum masters, product managers, architects, and engineers.
Gathers, manages, and prioritizes the product backlog.
Develops user stories and ensures that they are “ready” for development to start work.
Ensures each story has been sized correctly (story points) and has the correct acceptance criteria.
Collaborates with the development team. Clearly communicates product backlog items to the development team and the customer.
Develops and communicates the product sprint and release goals.
Develops release plans (including sprint dates, development, testing and release milestones).
Facilitates meetings and decision-making processes.
Facilitates scrum ceremonies (e.g., daily standup calls, sprint planning, backlog refinement sessions, retrospectives).
Analyzes existing systems and understands needs of the business/audience.
Constructs workflow charts and diagrams; studying system capabilities; writing specifications.
Improves systems by studying current practices and designing modifications.
Presents solutions, ideas and recommendations that serve the requirements.
Continuously researches and strives to understand audience needs better and improve the existing systems.
Prepares technical reports by collecting, analyzing and summarizing information and trends.
What You Will Need:
Bachelor’s degree
Minimum of FIVE (5) years of work experience, and experience working with healthcare.
Expertise with requirements gathering and documentation (e.g., writing user stories and acceptance criteria).
Excellent leadership skills and ability to independently manage work products to a high level of quality.
Strong facilitation skills and able to lead scrum ceremonies.
Expertise delivering with agile and scrum methodologies.
Experience with Atlassian Jira/Confluence.
Able to obtain a public trust clearance.
What Would Be Nice To Have:
Familiarity or experience applying human centered design techniques as it relates to product development
Certification in Agile methodologies (e.g., Certified Scrum Product Owner, Certified ScrumMaster).
The annual salary range for this position is $109,100.00-$163,700.00. Compensation decisions depend on a wide range of factors, including but not limited to skill sets, experience and training, security clearances, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs.
