We are looking for an Engineering Manager who will help create a thriving workplace where we prioritize our people, foster accountability, encourage collaboration and drive innovation to achieve the extraordinary. Your responsibilities:
- Own the delivery of the team's initiatives while guaranteeing the consistent delivery of high-quality software, meeting both technical standards and customer expectations.
- Provide technical expertise and direction to the team, helping troubleshoot complex issues and contributing to architectural decisions.
- Promote continuous improvement to sustain operational excellence through agile and engineering best practices.
- Collaborate with the Product Manager and relevant stakeholders to align team deliverables with strategic business goals to maximize customer value and anticipate market trends.
- Maintain clear and effective communication with peers, stakeholders, and leadership to ensure alignment and transparency.
- Participate in recruitment and retention of individual contributors, and actively manage individual growth and performance through constructive evaluations and personal development plans
Our requirements:
- Recent experience as an Engineering Manager.
- Strong leadership skills to inspire and guide team members. Able to manage team dynamics, build relationships, and build a cohesive team environment.
- Strong software development proficiency in any leading technology, preferably Python.
- Understanding of software architecture and systems design, including the ability to contribute to architectural decisions and practical experience in microservice architecture.
- Proficient knowledge of agile and lean practices, including Scrum, Kanban, or other agile frameworks, and able to combine these methodologies with project management tools to enhance team performance.
- Ability to analyze metrics and use data-driven insights to guide decision-making and improve processes.
- Experience in working with a DevOps mindset, with practical experience in best practices like TDD, CI/CD, and Observability.
