Job Description

Operations Managers are trusted advisors to Partners in Charge (PICs). They have, and apply a deep understanding of the business, T&L and firm to assist PICs with decision making, business and operational excellence, data & analytics, performance and continual improvement, policy implementation, change management, transformation and strategy execution. 

Operations Managers support excellence in communication across the business and work closely together with the relevant Strategy, Finance, Resourcing, Talent Attraction and P&I business partners to make integrated recommendations to the PIC. 

Your Opportunity

  • Provide business leadership with insights to manage financial and operational matters through regular reporting and analysis. This includes, but is not limited to, reporting and analytics on utilisation, realisation, profitability, forecasting & revenue, performance and NSC adoption. 
  • Focus on improving financial hygiene, overheads analysis, realisation rate reviews, expenses management, debtor provisions, etc. 
  • Assists in annual business planning including budget setting, timetable of key events and coordination of firmwide activities. 
  • Supports execution of T&L and firmwide strategy. 
  • Maintains SAP, including Timesheet and expense approvers, coordination of service line presentations in addition to monthly packs outlining performance of service line for PICs.

  • A solid understanding of various reporting required by Executive Team including forecasting & revenue analysis, performance reporting, overheads analysis, realisation rate reviews, etc.
  • Strong communication and ability to coordinate various enablement functions to support operational effectiveness. 
  • Capability with organisation and project management to help delivery and execution of projects and new firmwide transformation.
