Technical Operations Specialist

What you will do

Working directly with our EU team, you will support Clearspeed's backend operations ensuring high functionality of our global infrastructure and processes across multiple time zones.

Responsibilities

• Monitor the performance of Clearspeed’s global network.
• Coordinate with internal teams to ensure maintenance of network configuration.
• Perform regular system updates, backups, and maintenance tasks to ensure optimal performance and security.
• Quickly identify, prioritize, and resolve any technical or operational issues to improve system performance and reliability.
• Communicate to internal teams any technical issues and risks that may impact system effectiveness.
• Document and track technical issues and resolutions.
• Ensure high and accurate performance of Quality Control Section Questionnaire results.
• Assist with supporting/optimizing Asterisk scripts, SIP phones, and server registrations.
• Log analysis of the audio stream quality.
• Analyze system performance data and generate reports for the management team.
• Manage new and existing system data and assign it to the required server.
• Work with a bug tracking system (Jira).
• Perform additional related duties as required.

Who you are

You are highly reliable, well-organized, and able to clearly communicate at all levels. You have excellent time management and prioritization skills, and you can work independently and as part of a team.

• Associate degree or equivalent in a related field, or equivalent work experience. Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• At least 2 years’ work experience in a related technical capacity.
• Experience with Windows administration: ability to restart services, read logs, and check for open ports.
• Skilled in Linux administration: RHEL\CentOS, Partitioning, reading log files, restarting services, managing file permissions.
• AWS experience to work with different services including EC2 instances, S3 buckets, scripting, logs and other.
• Experience with Shell scripting.
• Knowledge of Asterisk: installation, configuration, dial plan scripting, SIP trunk registration, organize outgoing calls.
• Knowledge of network administration: firewalls, TCP/IP, ssh, VoIP.
• Knowledge of Zabbix system, WireShark system log analysis.
• Practical SQL installation, administration, DB structure reorganization, queries, redundancy.
• Knowledge of JIRA.
• Due to the nature of our US Government contracts, applicants must meet eligibility requirements for US Government security clearance. *Must be a US citizen and eligible for a US Government security clearance.*

Salary

Salary range is based on national benchmark data of comparable roles, skills, and experience level. Exact compensation will be based on individual skills and experience, and location which will be assessed during the Questionnaire process.
