The Role

Donorbox is seeking a skilled Product and Training Documentation Writer to play a key role in documenting our ever-evolving product and developing effective training materials for both our team and customers. The ideal candidate is curious, enthusiastic, and excels at translating complex concepts into user-friendly content. This role will involve creating materials for onboarding, training, and product documentation.

Responsibilities
  • Take ownership of the internal Donorbox Product Handbook, ensuring it is comprehensive and up-to-date
  • Collaborate with our Product Managers to gain a deep understanding of our product features
  • Thoroughly test Donorbox product features using our staging environments to ensure accurate documentation
  • Document all aspects of the Donorbox product in an organized and professional way
  • Create engaging training materials for customers and internal teams
  • Keep the Donorbox Knowledge Base current and informative
  • Lead live training sessions via video calls for team members
Qualifications & Experience
  • 2-5+ years of proven experience in product documentation, technical writing, or blogging
  • Strong command of English, including excellent spelling and grammar
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent presentation skills for delivering training via video
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a data-driven approach
  • Skilled at simplifying complex ideas into clear, concise, and engaging educational content
  • Meticulous attention to detail in documenting information accurately
  • Ability to quickly learn and document new technologies
  • Good understanding of User Experience (UX)
  • Experience in the tech industry is preferred

  • Fully remote based in South Africa, United Kingdom, or United States
  • Salary for US-based candidates: $65k - $70k USD
