Job description

We are looking for an SEO Digital Account Manager who will oversee client relationships while executing and optimizing SEO strategies. This role requires a deep understanding of SEO best practices, excellent project management skills, and the ability to translate complex SEO concepts into actionable insights for clients. The ideal candidate will have experience with various SEO tools and analytics platforms, as well as a proven track record of improving clients’ organic search performance.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong client relationships, serving as the primary point of contact and delivering exceptional support and strategic guidance.
  • SEO Strategy Development: Create and implement comprehensive SEO strategies tailored to each client’s unique goals and industry landscape.
  • Project Management: Lead and coordinate SEO initiatives, ensuring timely delivery of deliverables and effective collaboration across internal teams.
  • Performance Analysis: Utilize tools like Google Analytics, Google Search Console, and SEMrush to monitor, analyze, and report on SEO performance and ROI.
  • Technical SEO: Conduct technical SEO audits and oversee the implementation of recommendations to improve website performance and crawlability.
  • Content Strategy: Collaborate with content teams to develop SEO-driven content strategies that align with client goals and target audience needs.
  • Link Building: Develop and execute ethical link building strategies to improve clients’ domain authority and organic rankings.
  • Competitive Analysis: Perform regular competitor analysis to identify opportunities and stay ahead of industry trends.
  • Client Reporting: Create and present comprehensive SEO reports, translating complex data into clear, actionable insights for clients.
  • Team Leadership: Mentor junior team members and contribute to the agency’s overall SEO knowledge base and best practices.
  • Optimization: Continuously optimize SEO strategies based on performance data and emerging trends to maximize client results.
  • AI Tool Adoption: Stay updated with and learn to use AI-powered SEO tools to enhance efficiency and effectiveness of SEO strategies.
  • Business Acumen: Understand clients’ business models and recommend appropriate marketing operations tactics to drive conversions and achieve business objectives.

Requirements

Qualifications:
  • 3+ years of experience in SEO, preferably in an agency or client-facing role
  • Proven track record of improving organic search visibility and driving results for clients
  • Strong analytical skills with proficiency in SEO tools (e.g., SEMrush, Ahrefs, Moz) and Google Analytics
  • Excellent project management abilities, capable of juggling multiple client accounts and deadlines
  • Outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to explain SEO concepts to non-technical stakeholders
  • Up-to-date knowledge of SEO best practices, algorithm updates, and industry trends
  • Experience with content management systems (CMS) and basic HTML/CSS understanding
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to new AI-powered SEO tools and technologies
  • Strong business acumen with the ability to understand various business models and align SEO strategies accordingly
  • Strong Marketing ops skills with proficiency in HubSpot
Preferred Skills:
  • Experience with local SEO and e-commerce SEO strategies
  • Familiarity with paid search (PPC) and its interaction with organic search
  • Knowledge of marketing automation platforms and CRM systems
  • Certification in Google Analytics, Google Ads, or other relevant digital marketing certifications
    Experience with or enthusiasm for learning AI-powered SEO tools
