Key responsibilities
Global Kubernetes Deployment: Coordinate the rolling out and maintaining our Kubernetes platform across diverse cloud systems worldwide, and on bare metal. Be at the forefront of scaling and optimizing our infrastructure to global dimensions.
Infrastructure Advocacy: Champion enhancements in our infrastructure, CI/CD processes, and monitoring systems. Your insights and suggestions will be key in driving our operational excellence forward.
SRE Implementation: Apply Site Reliability Engineering principles with a customer-centric approach. Your role will ensure our services are reliable, efficient, and aligned with customer needs.
Best Practices Solutions: Craft solutions that not only meet but exceed our high standards and align with industry best practices. Your work will define the benchmark for quality and innovation in our operations.
Infrastructure Stewardship: Oversee the operations and overall health of our infrastructure. Your careful management and enhancement efforts will ensure robust, efficient, and seamless infrastructure performance, integral to our success.
Job requirements
Platform and SRE Enthusiasm: A genuine passion for Platform and SRE culture, with a commitment to daily improvement and learning in these areas.
Cloud and IaC Proficiency: Proficiency with cloud environments, preferably Google Cloud Platform (GCP), and a strong understanding of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools like Terraform and GitLab pipelines.
Monitoring and CI/CD Knowledge: Familiarity with observability tools (like Prometheus, Grafana) and CI/CD processes, including experience with tools such as ArgoCD, GitLab CI/CD, or similar.
Container and Kubernetes Experience: Hands-on experience with container technologies and Kubernetes, including related tools like Helm. An understanding of microservices architecture is beneficial.
Technical Versatility: Solid background in Linux/Unix, basic networking and security, and scripting (Bash, with Go or Java being a plus). Familiarity with GitOps, secret management systems (like HashiCorp Vault), and additional cloud providers is advantageous.
