The Opportunity ...
As we grow our commercial organisation, we are looking for an Account Manager to lead strategic account development across Benelux, France, North Africa and the Nordics. You will manage account relationships, ensuring trusted customer interaction whilst being the site level face of JBT to increase sales and promote ongoing engagement/networking. You will report into our Sales Director for Ready Meals Fresh Food & Pet Food, and we would like you to be located in a country that sits within our JBT locations in the territory that you will manage geographically. Ideally you will be based in either France, Belgium or the UK however, we will consider other countries where we have sites within this territory which include The Netherlands and Sweden.
On a Given Day, You May
- Conduct account planning jointly with customers who are multi-regional, understand their needs and develop the relationship whilst you identify new opportunities and implement strategies for growth. Monitor sales and account performance against targets.
- Plan and host both in-person and virtual events to create new leads/opportunities through workshops, seminars and new product introductions
- Manage opportunity pipeline of segment and ensure it is filled
- Engage with important/strategic accounts (both in person and onsite) and identify new business opportunities and support in assessing potential added value for customers
- Manage daily performance of any relevant agent networks, working with our Channel Partner Lead
- You will manage the end-to-end sales process and coordinate with all involved partners, this will include proactive identification of opportunities, definition of scope, budget and timelines, preparation and negotiation of quote until contract closure and finally hand-over to the responsible project manager
- You will manage final sale price and terms with your customers and be responsible for site level revenue growth
Requirements For The Role
- 3+ years of experience working as a strategic lead, identifying long-term opportunities and focusing on value creation for the customer.
- Good food processing knowledge and key equipment process knowledge where you have manged customers relationships and the entire sales process from negotiation to closing a deal
- Enhanced commercial value through ongoing customer engagement
- Able to present and communicate at senior levels
- English and French language skills a requirement - Dutch a bonus
Travel & Location
- We ask that you travel approximately 50% of the time and be located in a country that sits within our JBT locations in the territory that you will manage geographically. These are France, Belgium, The Netherlands or Sweden.
