About the role

As a Senior Data Engineer you will have a key role in developing and designing data driven services and solutions for our Lakehouse Analytics -platform. Besides technical tasks, you will also actively operate in the customer interface: creating and analyzing requirements, designing concepts, sharing your knowledge to our customers. In addition, you will actively collaborate with our technology partners and their globally leading data and AI products

You will be working in diverse teams consisting of top-level developers and customer’s experts. Your tasks and assignments would be jointly tailored according to you background and interests.

To succeed in this role we would like you to have

  • Professional SW development experience.
  • Hands-on experience of data driven solutions.
  • SW development skills in Python and SQL (or other sw programming languages)
  • Knowledge of big data related technologies like Databricks, Azure Synapse or Apache Spark
  • Experience of cloud solutions – preferably Azure.
  • Passion to continuously learn new things and aim higher.
  • Passion to build great products and solve complex customer problems.
  • Confidence to take responsibility, honesty and openness as a member of a team.

Language Skills

  • Excellent written and oral communication skills in English.
  • Fluency in Swedish is mandatory.

The following additional experience is valued:

  • Experience of social – and healthcare data.
  • Data warehouse, data lakes or lakehouse
  • Dimensional data modelling, star schemas and data marts.
  • Developement of Power BI.
