What you'll be doing
As part of the Regulatory Reporting team within Capital Markets Technology, you will conduct effective data analysis and impact assessments to provide solution details for required enhancements. You will create user stories and bug fixes that will be added to the RRS backlog for development. You will lead in knowledge-sharing sessions with RRS members and be open to teaching colleagues and business partners aspects of RRS's architecture, processes, and functionality. You will ideate and collaborate with a diverse team to create and set up flexible, innovative solutions that deliver a best-in-class client experience.

How you'll succeed
- Understanding and documenting requirements - Work closely with business and technical partners to define complex business requirements and facilitate solution design discussions to ensure you meet project needs. Create strong relationships, lead discussions, listen and ask the right questions to ensure solutions meet requirements.
- Solution design - Assemble client-focused solutions that meet business requirements. Prepare and validate solution design around areas such as scope clarification, solution requirements, and quality assurance.
- Leading and mentoring – Support end-to-end project implementation as a subject matter expert, and provide guidance to a diverse team of technology and project professionals. Maintain a collaborative work environment and support team members to resolve organizational, operational, and process problems.
Who you are
- You can demonstrate experience with: 2+ years working as a Business Systems Consultant, (preferably within the Capital Markets industry) with an emphasis on OTC derivative regulatory reporting. Strong knowledge and experience in Capital Markets and Financial Instruments: OTC Derivatives, Exchange Traded Derivatives, Foreign Exchange and Money Market transactions. You are proficient with SQL queries for data analysis and test validation, and have previously supported Agile/Scrum based projects. Ideally, you have a technical aptitude, excellent communication/documentation skills, a collaborative mindset, and the ability to perform sprint SIT testing. Strong knowledge and experience in any of the following Capital Markets Regulations: CFTC, CSA, SEC, EMIR, HKMA, ASIC, MIFIDII, SFTR, IIROC, LOPR, LTR. Experience with regulatory reporting technology platforms such as DTCC, Unavista, Trax. Experience with FIX, FPML, CSV, ISO 20022 XML submission message types. Also an asset if you have experience with Azure DevOps, Elasticsearch, and Tableau.
