Job description

Marketing Specialist

 

United Community is seeking a Marketing Specialist to join our team. As a Marketing Specialist, you will play a crucial role in our Marketing and Communications team, helping to drive the bank’s growth initiatives through strategic marketing efforts. You will manage and execute marketing projects, support in-branch marketing requests, and collaborate with various departments and external partners.

 

What You’ll Do:

  • Implement strategic marketing plans and monitor their progress.
  • Manage campaign development and execution from start to finish.
  • Communicate and execute marketing plans for assigned projects.
  • Develop schedules, outline tasks, maintain deadlines, and communicate with stakeholders.
  • Ensure marketing projects align with budgets and timelines.
  • Lead and participate in cross-functional team meetings.
  • Collaborate with the creative team to generate and proof content.
  • Manage marketing vendor relationships.
  • Maintain branded material requests and inventory.
  • Assist with sales and marketing duties as needed.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations.

 

Requirements For Success:

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business administration, communications, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in marketing/project management or as an account executive.
  • Strong communication, multitasking, and project management skills.
  • Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Outlook; basic Adobe Creative Suite knowledge preferred.
  • Self-motivated, confident, energetic, and creative.
  • Experience running cross-functional projects with large teams
  • Collaborative team player with a positive attitude and sound judgment.
  • Some travel required.
  • Participation in required regulatory and compliance training, including Bank Secrecy Act/anti-money laundering training, as well as internal and external training programs, online training, meetings, and seminars/conferences, etc.   

 

Conditions of Employment:

  • Must be able to pass a criminal background and credit check.
  • This is a full-time, non-remote position.
