The Conference Coordinator position resides in the Conferences department at SCTE. This department showcases the profiles of our members, our reputation as a neutral partner, a place for innovation and the value membership provides. Our team plays a crucial role in contributing to the creation of events that bring the industry together to learn, collaborate, explore and connect with the each other and the organization.

We are looking for a dynamic, detail-oriented, proactive individual who works well under pressure and has a passion for events and the impact they can make on an individual, company and the industry.

What You’ll Do

• Coordinate and execute email and social campaigns (9-month campaign) to engage target audiences.
• Secure and manage media barter agreements to enhance brand visibility and reach.
• Under the direction of the VP of Conferences, develop and maintain website content, ensuring up-to-date and relevant information for visitors.
• Champion and implement tracking across all marketing channels to measure performance and impact.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to leverage the database for high-quality, data-driven marketing campaigns.
• Contribute to the onsite session video content strategy, working closely to develop and execute impactful video marketing initiatives to boost website traffic and engagement.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

What Is a Must Have

• At least 1 year of experience in event marketing
• Highly organized and ability to manage priorities and deadlines
• Energetic and pro-active ‘can-do’ attitude, don’t mind rolling up your sleeves
• Able to stay calm, composed and professional, even under pressure, and to maintain effective relationships with staff, attendees, exhibitors and sponsors
• Passion for events

What Will Set You Apart

• Proficiency in HubSpot for managing email marketing, and campaign tracking.
• Proven experience in event marketing, focusing on attendee acquisition and revenue growth.
• Skilled in SEO and performance analytics to drive traffic and measure campaign success.

Compensation: The salary range is $47,320 - $56,680. This position is eligible for bonus incentive compensation up to 10% of base salary.

This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment.
