Canon Press Operator ~ (1:00pm - 9:30pm)

Xpressdocs is looking for a Canon Press Operator to play a critical role in producing high-quality printed materials for our clients using our Canon digital printing press. You will be responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining the press to ensure efficient and accurate production while meeting quality standards.  This position requires strong technical expertise, attention to detail, and a commitment to delivering top-notch results.

In this position, you will:

  • Set up and calibrate the Canon digital printing press for various print jobs.
  • Load paper and ink, adjust print settings, and ensure proper alignment.
  • Monitor and control print quality throughout production runs.
  • Perform regular maintenance tasks on the press to keep it in optimal condition.
  • Troubleshoot and address minor technical issues as they arise.
  • Collaborate with maintenance personnel for more complex repairs when necessary.
  • Conduct quality checks at regular intervals to ensure that printed materials meet client specifications.
  • Make adjustments to maintain consistent print quality.
  • Optimize production schedules to meet client deadlines and minimize downtime.
  • Coordinate with other team members to ensure efficient workflow.
  • Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a safe working environment.
  • Ensure compliance with industry regulations and standards.
  • Maintain accurate records of job specifications, production data, and equipment maintenance.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and share suggestions with the production team.
