About the role:

As an Expert Front End (React) Developer, you'll become a part of a cross-functional development team engineering experiences of tomorrow.

The client is a fast-growing fintech startup revolutionizing U.S. real estate investment for international clients. They provide a seamless, fully digital platform that allows non-U.S. citizens to invest in U.S. residential real estate with ease. This platform automates and simplifies each step, from creating an LLC and securing EINs to setting up U.S. bank accounts, accessing mortgages, and managing compliance.

The platform has attracted significant attention, raising $12.5 million in a Series A round in 2024 to expand its offerings across multiple U.S. states, with Florida and Texas among its primary markets.

Client is looking for a passionate engineer who will join the company’s R&D team to drive technological growth and be part of creating the company’s next-generation solution.

Responsibilities:

• Front-End development to meet business needs and implement components according to the modern software development environment
• Work side by side with our team in Spain to fulfill company goals
• Taking part in the decision-making process in design web-application, development, architectural and code review
• Develop and review feature design documents and provide inputs/updates to specifications for the solution
• Proactive position in solution development, processes improvements
• Communicate with PMs, other developers, QAs and other colleagues and stakeholders
• Use high coding standards, software best practices and write highly testable, automatable and performant code over the whole SDLC

Requirements:

• Excellent communication skills, speaking and writing English fluently are a must
• Experience of at least 6 years of Front-End development
• Proficient in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript/TypeScript
• Practical experience and excellent knowledge in React (JSX, virtual DOM, hooks, state management)
• Proven experience in designing solutions using development standards with scalability in mind
• Familiar with UX concepts and best practices
• Understanding of network interactions, protocols and conventions (e.g. HTTP, REST, oAuth, JWT)
• Hands-on experience with coding testing components and knowledge in types of tests and testing best practices
• Experience with Git and knowledge in different branching strategies
• Experience with CI/CD tools (GitHub Actions), AWS cloud provide
• Experience with code review, troubleshooting, profiling and debugging web-applications
• Knowledge of Agile delivery processes and methods

Desirable:

• Tech / Team lead experience
• Experience with NodeJS, Server-side rendering of React
• Using Docker
• Experience with Code quality tools (e.g. Deendabot, Sonarqube)
