The Opportunity

If you have a keen eye for detail and a solid understanding of nursing assessments and regulations, we are seeking a dedicated and experienced MDS Coordinator to join our team and provide support to our US-based healthcare client, we would love to hear from you!

This position is remote and offers you the flexibility of working from home.

What You’ll Do:
  • Evaluate the quality of care for long-term care residents
  • Assist in the admission process, assessing nursing needs, and ensuring appropriate placement
  • Work closely with Admissions Coordinators, providing assessment results
  • Develop care plans with both short- and long-term goals
  • Lead meetings with multidisciplinary teams, caregivers, and families
  • Ensure accuracy and completion of the MDS process for all residents
  • Keep current on Medicare criteria and communicate regulatory updates to nursing staff
  • Monitor assessment schedules and ensure timely, accurate documentation
What You Bring:
  • 2+ years of experience as an MDS Coordinator or in a related role
  • Hands-on experience in a Skilled Nursing Facility or hospital
  • A valid state nursing license in New York
  • Strong understanding of medical terminology and regulations
  • Exceptional mathematical skills for tasks like variance analysis
  • Knowledge of state and federal regulations, including HIPAA
Service Fee:

Industry standards applicable to the state depending on work experience and level of expertise.

Hours:

US Eastern Standard Time (EST) - 9am to 6pm
