The Opportunity

This position is remote and offers you the flexibility of working from home.

What You’ll Do:

Evaluate the quality of care for long-term care residents
Assist in the admission process, assessing nursing needs, and ensuring appropriate placement
Work closely with Admissions Coordinators, providing assessment results
Develop care plans with both short- and long-term goals
Lead meetings with multidisciplinary teams, caregivers, and families
Ensure accuracy and completion of the MDS process for all residents
Keep current on Medicare criteria and communicate regulatory updates to nursing staff
Monitor assessment schedules and ensure timely, accurate documentation

What You Bring:

2+ years of experience as an MDS Coordinator or in a related role
Hands-on experience in a Skilled Nursing Facility or hospital
A valid state nursing license in New York
Strong understanding of medical terminology and regulations
Exceptional mathematical skills for tasks like variance analysis
Knowledge of state and federal regulations, including HIPAA

Service Fee:

Industry standards applicable to the state depending on work experience and level of expertise.

Hours:

US Eastern Standard Time (EST) - 9am to 6pm
