Job Description:
As a DDN Nvidia & Public Cloud Sr. Project Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing and driving the success of complex projects integrating DDN’s data infrastructure solutions with Nvidia and with leading public cloud providers. Your role is critical in managing the intricate collaborations between DDN, Nvidia, and cloud partners, ensuring that project milestones, deliverables, and strategic objectives are met with precision. You will work cross-functionally with teams from DDN, Nvidia, and public cloud providers, including engineering, product, sales, and delivery teams, to manage timelines and deliver world-class AI and cloud-enabled outcomes to our customers.
Key Responsibilities:
Project Management & Execution:
- Lead and oversee the full lifecycle of complex, high-impact projects integrating DDN’s solutions with Nvidia’s AI platforms and public cloud environments.
- Develop and manage project plans, timelines, and resource allocation strategies to ensure alignment with the strategic goals of DDN, Nvidia, and cloud providers.
- Coordinate technical reviews, status updates, and project milestones between DDN, Nvidia, and cloud stakeholders to maintain momentum and alignment.
Collaboration & Stakeholder Engagement:
- Act as the central point of contact across DDN, Nvidia, and cloud providers, ensuring streamlined communication and alignment on objectives and deliverables.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams, including engineering, product management, and marketing, to execute a cohesive project strategy.
- Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with Nvidia and cloud provider stakeholders to facilitate seamless integration of DDN’s solutions with their platforms.
Risk Management & Issue Resolution:
- Proactively identify potential risks, challenges, or bottlenecks in project execution, creating and implementing mitigation strategies as needed.
- Drive issue resolution by coordinating with leadership and technical teams across companies to address and overcome obstacles effectively.
Documentation & Reporting:
- Maintain detailed project documentation, including timelines, milestones, deliverables, and progress reports, ensuring transparency and accountability.
- Regularly communicate project status and updates to DDN leadership, Nvidia, and cloud stakeholders to maintain alignment and trust.
- Ensure adherence to all regulatory, contractual, and technical requirements, documenting compliance at each project phase.
Process Optimization:
- Continuously assess project management processes and workflows, recommending and implementing improvements to enhance efficiency and cross-organizational collaboration.
- Leverage industry best practices and insights to improve the effectiveness of future project initiatives.
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience with Bachelor’s degree in Project Management, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; a Master’s degree is preferred.
- Extensive experience managing projects with large technology companies
- Exceptional communication and collaboration skills, with a proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage stakeholder relationships.
- PMP or PRINCE2 certification is a plus.
Skills & Competencies:
- Strong project management and organizational skills, capable of managing multiple complex projects simultaneously.
- Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Jira, Trello).
- Ability to excel in a fast-paced, high-tech environment with a proactive and results-oriented approach to problem-solving.
