Responsibilities:

We are seeking Security Engineers specializing in AI/ML of all levels to protect advanced AI and machine learning systems from security threats and vulnerabilities. In this role, you will be responsible for securing data pipelines, protecting model training processes, and maintaining a secure production environment. This is an exciting opportunity to play a pivotal role in safeguarding cutting-edge technology used for critical federal applications. Whether you're at the beginning of your career or have extensive experience, you’ll play a vital role in pushing technology boundaries and delivering meaningful outcomes. 

 

  • Design, implement, and manage security controls for AI/ML data pipelines, model training, and deployment processes.
  • Conduct vulnerability assessments, penetration tests, and risk analyses to detect, respond to, and prevent security threats within the AI/ML infrastructure.
  • Implement encryption and data protection protocols to secure both proprietary and open-source data.
  • Develop and enforce data governance, security, and compliance policies, ensuring adherence to federal standards and regulations.
  • Collaborate with data scientists, engineers, and DevOps teams to secure the deployment and monitoring of machine learning models in production environments.
  • Continuously evaluate security protocols and procedures to stay ahead of emerging threats and risks in AI/ML applications.

 

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Active Secret or higher level security clearance or the ability to obtain.
  • Cybersecurity knowledge, including encryption methods, vulnerability testing, and threat mitigation strategies.
  • Experience with AI/ML security practices, including risk management and threat detection.
  • Knowledge of federal data governance, security and compliance requirements.
  • Experience managing secure environments for both open-source and proprietary data.
  • Familiarity with data pipeline and cloud security in AI/ML platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud).
  • Experience with cybersecurity tools and frameworks such as SIEM, IDS/IPS, and vulnerability scanners.
