Our clients platform is an all-in-one PPM solution designed to help businesses streamline project management, resource allocation, risk management, and cost control. Known for its intuitive UI, this platform ensures easy onboarding and widespread adoption, catering to everyone from daily contractors to senior PMO executives. As a start-up, they're nimble enough to respond to industry needs, offering customizations and additional features that make this a highly adaptable solution.
The Role
As a Business Development Representative, you'll be on the front lines, generating new business opportunities through a variety of multi-channel outreach methods. You'll utilize cold calls, personalized and sequenced emails, social selling, and event networking to engage potential clients. Your focus will be on uncovering and understanding each prospect's unique needs, articulating the advantages of the platform, and sometimes even identifying needs they may not have realized. In a competitive landscape, your ability to communicate the unique value and flexibility of our clients solution will be critical.
Key Responsibilities
- Proactively reach out to potential clients using a blend of outreach techniques, including phone, email, social channels, and events.
- Identify client needs, present the value proposition, and nurture relationships to move prospects through the sales pipeline.
- Use creative approaches to showcase the platforms flexibility, price advantage, and customization capabilities.
- Collaborate closely with the founder to refine and enhance your sales strategy based on client feedback and evolving industry trends.
Skills and Experience
To excel in this role, were looking for candidates with the following skills and attributes:
- SaaS Sales Experience: Proven experience selling SaaS solutions, ideally within the Property, Real Estate, or related industries where project-based work is common.
- Multi-Channel Sales Expertise: Skilled in engaging prospects through diverse channels, such as phone, email, social platforms, and networking at industry events. Experience using tools like Outreach or similar is a plus.
- Self-Motivated and Resilient: You bring a proactive, self-driven approach, with the resilience and motivation to handle the ups and downs of a sales role.
- Strategic Prospecting Skills: Demonstrated ability to identify, qualify, and engage key decision-makers within target industries, including navigating multiple levels of stakeholders.
- Excellent Communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills, capable of adapting messaging to resonate with various personas from PMO leaders to project managers.
- Data-Driven Mindset: Ability to analyze sales data to continually refine and improve outreach efforts for maximum efficiency and success.
Target Industries and Personas
In this role, you'll focus on industries with ongoing project needs, examples of some of this industries may include but are not limited to;
- Retail: For projects like re-merchandising or new store openings.
- Property Development: Supporting developers in managing construction and fit-out projects.
- Healthcare: Facilitating hospital expansions, refurbishments, and equipment upgrades.
- Hospitality: For managing room refurbishments, renovations, and other recurring updates.
- Fit-Out Companies: Managing project timelines, costs, and resource allocations.
You'll be connecting with stakeholders in these industries, specifically targeting PMO offices (Head of PMO, decision-makers) and project managers who can champion the platform internally and introduce it to decision-makers.
What's in It for You
This role offers the chance to grow quickly, with a clear path to move into an Account Executive (AE) role. You'll work closely with the founder, who has been directly responsible for onboarding all current clients and has a deep background in project management.
Earnings and Commission Structure:
- Option 1: Commission per meeting booked, offering up to an additional £20,000 in commission annually.
- Option 2: Commission based on opportunities won, with a percentage of net revenue, potentially leading to double OTE and uncapped earnings.
You'll have the flexibility to choose the structure that best aligns with your strengths and goals.
