Job description

Revinate is one of the largest and most innovative providers of direct revenue-generating solutions in the hospitality industry. Revinate's mission is to deliver hoteliers scalable direct revenue and profits from data-driven solutions that cultivate deeper relationships with guests. Revinate’s Direct Booking Platform helps capture, convert and retain guests with strategies and services that maximize direct booking revenue. This combination maximizes the lifetime value of each guest through personalized and targeted campaigns across the guest journey. Revinate Marketing has won 1st place for Hotel CRM & Email Marketing in the HotelTechAwards five years in a row!

What We Believe
We believe that hoteliers deserve better. The global hotel sector is a booming $500B+ industry, yet hotels are facing many complex challenges, including increased pressure from online travel agencies and intense competition from ever-growing room inventory and the shared economy. That coupled with aging, cumbersome technology is making the job of the hotelier more difficult than ever. At Revinate, we use cutting edge technology to build powerful software for hotels to take back control and drive direct revenue. The simplicity and beautiful UX of our solutions are a breath of fresh air in an industry of old technology.

Role Overview
We are looking for an experienced Senior HR Business Partner to join our growing HR Team.  This key role will serve as the first point of contact for our core client groups, starting with our Technology and Contact Center teams (Engineering, Product, Contact Center, IT) -- supporting their full-cycle People & Culture needs, including Org Design, Employee Relations, Performance Management and Compensation.  In addition, this position will play a key role in partnering on Talent Development and Performance Management programs across all functions. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who comes with a solid, well-rounded background in all things HR, with a desire to have even further impact and growth opportunities in a positive, dynamic culture.

HR Business Partnership – Serve as the primary contact for all people-related needs for specific client groups (Engineering, Product, IT/Corporate Infrastructure, Contact Center (RezForce), as well as some employees internationally). Our mission is to inspire high performance and create an ongoing employee experience guided by our Company Values -- OneRevinate, Built on Trust, Expect Amazing, Customer Love, Make it Simpler, Hungerness, and Grounded in Gratitude.

What You'll Do
  • Headcount Planning - Partner with Hiring Managers and our Director of Talent Acquisition to design optimal organizational structures, manage to a budget, and enable internal mobility/career development.
  • Employee Relations - Partner with Business Leaders to manage and resolve core HR needs such as Goal Setting, Career Growth/Development, Performance Management, Conflict Resolution & Culture (e.g. helping teams in different functional areas work well together), etc.
  • Compensation - Serve as central contact for serving the compensation needs for this team, partnering with our Total Rewards Manager - executing our strategy around hiring, incentives and rewards throughout the year.
  • Coaching - Serve as trusted mentor/advisor to Managers and Employees as they navigate work-related challenges. You have excellent listening skills, empathy, and strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Problem Solving - You are excellent at taking a subjective problem and breaking it down into objective, solvable solutions. You are organized and strong at making sound HR recommendations to various stakeholders.
  • Manager & Development - Partner with our Chief People Officer and HRBP team to build and scale our management training & development opportunities - support both first-time Managers, and more experienced Managers leading larger teams.
  • Employee Development - Partner with our Chief People Officer and HRBP team to design and roll out expanded Employee Development programs - including our Individual Development Plans, Udemy for Business, and Employee Learning Paths.
  • Performance Management - Bring new ideas and expertise to our performance management system, to ensure it is fresh, relevant, and effective as our culture scales.

  • What You'll Bring
  • HR Management Background - 8+ years of experience in a core HR function, creating and delivering impactful people and culture strategies in a start-up environment.
  • People Management - You have led teams yourself, and you have coached Managers how to be excellent at managing people.
  • Program Management - You have the ability to conceive an idea, get buy-in from key stakeholders, and put an action plan together, manage to drive positive change
  • Communication Skills - You are comfortable with both public speaking and working 1:1 with Managers and Employees to resolve communication challenges that arise between teams; you can put a Communication Plan together for an HR/Change Management project.
  • Proactive - When you see a challenge, you lean in and seek to resolve it; you are good at navigating ambiguity to fully understand a situation, and create recommendations to get to the best solution.
  • Process Improvement / Change Management - You have helped build new processes and evolve existing ones to drive efficiency.
  • Organizational Skills - You enjoy making order out of chaos.
  • Attitude & Judgment - You are humble, hungry to learn, and have deep empathy for others; you have the ability to build trust and see multiple perspectives and use good judgment to make sound decisions.
