Job description

As the Senior Product Marketing Manager, you’ll play a pivotal role in shaping the go-to-market strategy for InMotion Hosting’s core product lines. This role requires a strategic thinker with strong storytelling skills, and a data-driven approach to drive product adoption, customer retention, and revenue growth.

 

You’ll work closely with cross-functional teams, including Product Management, Sales, Customer Success, and Paid Media, to develop positioning, messaging, and strategies that communicate our product value and differentiate InMotion Hosting in a competitive market.

 

What You’ll Do and How You’ll Make Your Mark:

  • Develop compelling product messaging and positioning, translating technical features into clear, customer-focused language that drives product understanding and engagement.
  • Collaborate with the product and sales teams to create content such as product briefs, FAQs, feature guides, and marketing collateral that resonate with target audiences.
  • Support go-to-market strategies for new product launches, aligning messaging with market needs and customer pain points.
  • Conduct competitive analysis to refine positioning and uncover opportunities for differentiation,  inform product development, messaging themes, and marketing strategies.
  • Assist in campaign execution, tracking product performance, and gathering feedback for continuous improvement.
  • Monitor industry trends and customer feedback to ensure product messaging stays relevant and aligned with market shifts.
  • Serve as a leader and a mentor to more junior team members. Identify strategic plans to  help them grow in their skillset, reach their professional goals, and achieve strategic company goals.
  • Develop impactful sales collateral and comprehensive training programs to arm sales teams with the training and tools needed to effectively communicate the value of the portfolio.
  • Evangelize our product lines through public speaking, analyst briefings, and thought leadership (blogs, articles, social media). 

 

Who You Are and What You’ll Need to Succeed:

  • 4+ years of experience in product marketing, marketing communications, or a related field preferably with enterprise software or SaaS services.
  • Excellent writing and communication skills, with the ability to craft clear, persuasive messaging that connects with diverse audiences.
  • Strong understanding of positioning and messaging strategies for product differentiation.
  • Familiarity with conducting competitive research and analysis to inform go-to-market strategies.
  • A passion for learning and staying updated on industry trends and best practices.
  • Strong preference for marketing experience specific to web hosting, WordPress or other similar tech product lines.
  • Experience leading cross-functional teams to deliver complex initiatives. 
  • Demonstrated success in dynamic and highly matrixed environments.
  • Experience using data to make informed decisions, analyze business trends, and identify growth opportunities.
  • Experience leading projects among cross-functional team members under tight deadlines.
  • A drive to continuously improve by exploring industry trends and best practices.
