Job Summary
Part of a larger team delivering high quality technology solutions to the business. Design, develop and install software solutions. Build high-quality, innovative and fully performing software in compliance with internal architecture, development & design standards & best practices. Design, modify, develop, write, implement and troubleshoot software programming applications. Support and/or install software applications. Lead the testing process through test review and analysis, test witnessing and certification of software. Works within a Waterfall or Agile methodology/framework based team. Collaborates heavily with Project Management, Business Analyst and Infrastructure Job Families.

Essential Job Functions:
Responsibilities include one or more of the following for the largest and most complex projects:
Develop advanced solutions to resolve customer and prospective customer issues in a logical, creative and structured manner.
Align the client’s goals, needs and objectives to the solutions. Communicate issues and status in a clear, timely manner. Interpret specifications and build advanced solutions to those specifications.
Collaborate on the business strategy by acting as an expert of the company's services and products, including usage, architecture, functionality and deployment.
Develop custom presentations and demonstrations for all audiences.
Generate infrastructure support documentation. Make proposals and writes request for proposal (RFP) responses.
Evaluate and propose advanced process improvements. Maintain expert knowledge about the company's software/hardware products.
May provide training and mentoring, as well as work direction, to others on the team.
Minimum Requirements:
Solution Engineer Staff (SG9):
Education: Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or related technical field is required.
Experience: 8 years of relevant work experience is required.
An equivalent combination of education and related experience may be considered.
Solution Engineer Lead (SG10):
Education: Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or related technical field is required.
Experience:10 years of relevant work experience is required.
An equivalent combination of education and related experience may be considered.
Preferred Requirements:
Experience/Skills:
Extensive knowledge of the ESRI ArcGIS solution stack and technology to communicate best practices to the rest of the organization when engaged
Ability to design optimal solutions leveraging tools within the ESRI ArcGIS ecosystem (including a relational database and GIS data integration tools)
Deep knowledge of spatially enabled relational databases and how to optimize data for a GIS stack
Experience with testing automation frameworks and other continuous integration technologies
Agile (scrum) development experience
Lead developer role experience
Experience with JIRA
Experience working with GIS Tools & Technologies
Licenses/Certifications: Scrum Certifications
Compensation:
Solution Engineer Staff (SG9): $110,656.00-$143,853.50
Solution Engineer Lead (SG10): $129,963.00-$168,952.00

Candidates will be considered based on their qualifications and the candidate’s ability to work from an approved work location.
