Remote from IA, NC, TN, OH, SC, OR GA

Reporting to the U.S. Sales Manager, the Key Account Sales Manager assists in driving targeted run rate and promotional penetration into key retail accounts across the United States at dealers buying from 3 key customers – Orgill, Ace and Do It Best.  This position can be based anywhere in the continental US with a preference for an individual living near a major US airport.

  • Engage key customers in co-op hardware wholesale driving business development initiatives to our customers key targets.
  • Regularly attend distributor/co-op trade shows multiple times per year
  • Regularly attend key customer events (contractor days, demo days etc.)
  • Meet regularly with key target stakeholders for national retail chains buying from our distribution partners
  • Gain new listings at key accounts and launch new product initiatives
  • Sell in key warehouse programs and promotions to customer base
  • Convert customers business from competitors to Marshalltown Brands
  • Discover new key accounts where Marshalltown can add value
  • Schedule and execute ride-alongs with distributor salespeople to help drive additional retail placement with dealer base.
  • Develop relationships with dealer stakeholders as well as distribution sales network for our distributor partners.
  • Act as main contact for dealer for everything Marshalltown
  • Help develop sell in and sell through programs for targeted customers
  • Travel for this position is 40%-50% throughout the US but may vary depending on needs

Compensation:

  • Competitive base compensation with annual bonus incentive tied to overall sales performance
  • Eligible for full benefits package
Qualifications

  • 2-4 years sales experience preferably in the hardware wholesale environment
  • 4 year college degree preferred
  • Excellent organizational and customer service skills
  • Experience in managing multiple complex projects simultaneously
