Salary Range: $72,800 - $93,600

Job Summary:

We are looking for an experienced Registered Nurse specializing in Behavioral Health to join our team. This role involves planning, providing, and evaluating individualized patient care under the guidance of the Clinical Coordinator and Nursing Unit Director. You will collaborate across shifts to ensure continuity of care, maintain positive relations with other departments, and participate in educational initiatives.

Responsibilities:
  • Deliver nursing care for the assigned unit following patient care philosophy.
  • Facilitate individualized, goal-oriented care using the nursing process.
  • Maintain effective relations with other shifts and departments.
  • Support education and development across nursing practices.
  • Perform patient assessments, critical interventions, and care planning.
Requirements:
  • Education: Associate’s degree in Nursing (Bachelor’s preferred).
  • Experience: Minimum 1.5 years of psychiatric/behavioral health bedside experience.
  • Licenses: Active Georgia RN license or multi-state/compact RN license.
  • Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; “Handle with Care” or CPI certification within 90 days of hire preferred; ACLS preferred.
  • Skills: Strong critical thinking, decisive judgment, and the ability to work under minimal supervision in a high-stress environment.
