Position Description

Softdocs is looking for a technology and client-oriented professional who is passionate about software adoption to support transforming the education and government sectors.


The mission of the Managed Services Team is to provide positive experiences for on-going client projects in a flexible team-oriented department. Our consultant’s detailed discovery, execution and delivery will drive projects forward for existing implementations and expansion efforts.

Position Responsibilities

  • Consults with clients to understand business processes and optimizes them to achieve desired outcomes utilizing Softdocs solutions
  • Utilizes coding languages to develop custom forms and applications against business processes defined by client specifications
  • Partners with Project Managers to ensure consistent client communication and understanding of project deliverables and deadlines
  • Maintains detailed documentation
  • Provides general application administration to support successful maintenance of client implementations of Softdocs solutions
  • Works across multiple projects and project teams simultaneously to anticipate and manage changes in client needs


The Ideal Candidate


Technical Skills

  • Demonstrated experience with coding languages: CSS, JavaScript, HTML, APIs
  • Knowledge of utilizing API calls to integrate with web applications
  • Experience with MS SQL and relational databases


Hard Skills

  • Experience working with enterprise level software
  • Experience working in K – 12 and/or Higher Education marketplaces
  • Experience working with government entities

Bonus If You Have

  • Experience consulting on enterprise content management software
  • Experience in a position within K-12 or Higher Education
  • Experience working with Oracle databases and Microsoft Azure
  • Understanding of Web APIs, how to authenticate and pass data through API syntax


Required Education and Experience

  • Associates or Bachelor's degree in a technology, business administration, or related field is preferred or two or more years of equivalent work experience
  • Experience working in a role focused on improving efficiency in business processes
