About The Job
As a Senior Zone Operations and Outreach Manager, your primary focus is on implementing, collaborating, and sustaining our Retail Operations business policies, procedures, and operational and selling processes that result in driving sales and increasing efficiencies. In addition, you are responsible for the execution of the internal outreach business strategy within the field organization. This role will partner with the regional management team to source internal outreach opportunities, maximize revenue across the zone and provide the reporting and analytics necessary to manage and drive retail operations. This individual must be solutions oriented, with a strong history of successful sales results, while demonstrating good judgement in recommending solutions. This position requires a strong ability to think and plan strategically to achieve optimal results. This position is remote to be based in Cleveland/Cincinnati Ohio or Detroit, Michigan and will report directly to the Director of Business Operations and Outreach.
What You’ll Do | Key Accountabilities
- Actively identify, secure and manage new and potential internal outreach leads to achieve sales goals, profitability, and key KPI and financial metrics.
- Primary ownership of all year-round high school and bridal internal outreach events.
- Present a thorough understanding and reporting of business operations obstacles, business results, and areas of opportunity to Field leadership and Director of internal Outreach and Operations.
- Effectively communicate the business operations, outreach strategy and direction to the field management and partner on implementation.
- Assess underperforming stores by monitoring exception reports, and partner with field management to achieve operational excellence.
- Recommend innovative and creative ideas for revenue growth while, monitoring competitive offers, communicating changes, and providing recommendations.
- Stay informed on corporate communication, directives, initiatives, and policies/procedures to serve as the first line of support for the stores.

What You’ll Bring | Skills and Qualifications
- Retail management or sales multi-unit management experience of 7+ years or equivalent.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management or equivalent experience required (work experience may substitute for education requirement).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to flex to various audiences.
- Exceptional customer service skills with the desire to satisfy our internal and external customers.
- Strong analytical skills to identify and assess potential obstacles and opportunities to drive the business.
- Ability to think strategically to develop business plans and execution of initiatives.
- Comparison shops the competition in your area. Know what our competitors carry, at what price point they sell it, and at what depth they stock it.
- Exceptional time management and follow up skills. Experienced at prioritizing and working under time constraints, overseeing multiple projects at one time, and working independently while remaining flexible to changing priorities and assignments.
- Strong expertise of Microsoft Office Products including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, along with ability to adapt to new technology quickly.
- Strong knowledge of in-store and back-office systems (POS/Putty, Oracle, PeopleSoft, Workforce Management, etc.)

Work Environment, Physical & Mental Demands
- Ability to sit and work at a computer keyboard for extended periods of time.
- Ability to stoop, kneel, bend at the waist, and reach daily.
- Able to lift and move up to 25 pounds occasionally.
- Must utilize visual acuity, speech and hearing, hand and eye coordination and manual dexterity necessary to operate a computer and office equipment.
- Hours regularly 40 hours per week, as work dictates.
