Job Description

As a Social Media Specialist, you’ll be at the forefront of engaging Gen Z audiences in the exciting world of fintech. You’ll manage a vibrant social media presence across multiple platforms, creating content that educates and entertains while adhering to financial regulations. This role offers a unique blend of creativity and strategy, allowing you to work with a vast library of existing content while developing new ideas to captivate young audiences. Responsibilities

• Create and schedule compelling content for Instagram, TikTok, YouTube Shorts, Snapchat, and Reddit
  
• Repurpose and optimize a vast library of existing video and image content (2TB, ~15,000 assets) for various social platforms
  
• Manage social media inboxes, fostering community engagement and addressing user queries
  
• Collaborate with the fractional CMO and marketing agency to execute innovative social media strategies
  
• Ensure all content aligns with financial regulations and internal compliance guidelines
  
• Monitor social media trends and adapt strategies to maintain high engagement levels
  
• Contribute to the growth of the company’s social media presence, building on the existing 100,000 follower base
  

• Proven experience in creating and managing content for Gen Z audiences across major social media platforms
  
• Strong understanding of current social media trends, best practices, and platform-specific nuances
  
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
  
• Ability to work within compliance guidelines for financial services (experience in regulated industries a plus)
  
• Proficiency with content management systems, preferably Notion
  
• Basic video and image editing skills to repurpose and optimize existing content
  
• Interest in fintech, financial education, and the evolving landscape of personal finance
  
• Flexibility to work part-time with the potential for increased hours as the company grows
  
• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently in a remote setting
