This role reports into our Specialty Chemical Distribution (SCD) Division. This is a remote position based in Montreal, QC.

You will …Collaborate with the customer’s engineering team to specify, qualify, and develop manufacturing processes for specialty chemical solutions.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Determines and presents the customer with potential engineered solutions for customer applications, coordinates application testing with the customer
  • Establishes professional customer/vendor relationships with appropriate customer personnel (purchasing, engineering, manufacturing, quality assurance, management, and other key personnel)
  • Participates in regular sales meetings and meets periodically with Sales leadership to counsel, chart progress, and identify performance improvement opportunities
  • Partners with key stakeholders from internal departments, customers and vendors to ensure that the customers’ needs are being addressed
  • Participates in periodic meetings to maintain technical knowledge of specialty chemical solutions and effectively utilizes technology to efficiently manage their territory.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • 3+ years of industrial B2B sales experience, specialty chemical market preferred
  • Bachelor of Science degree required, within a technical or business-related field preferred
  • Very good skills with the Microsoft office Suite
  • Holds integrity paramount to all, followed closely by customer service, quality, collaboration, teamwork, drive, compliance, hard work, discipline, accountability and continuous improvement
  • Expert communication skills, including up, down, across, within and outside the organization
  • Ability to build strong internal relationships inside the company, together with cultivating an external network outside the company

  • Uses influence to stretch the thinking within the business, in pursuit of Ellsworth’s profitable and predictable growth initiatives and strategies

Travel:

  • Daily travel within the assigned territory. Overnight travel as required for training and business meetings.
