What You'll Do

As a Software Engineer, you will design, code, and increase different parts (microservices) of our compliance cloud. It will be up to you to convert product vision and requirements into the finished product.

At Avalara, you will work on diverse projects that make tax compliance less taxing and more efficient for businesses around the globe. You could enhance our primary tax computation engine, building connectors integrate it with e-commerce systems, developing AI models to automate the creation of tax rules or engineering our multi-cloud core SAAS platform. What You'll Need to be Successful

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.

Minimum Of 3 Years Of Experience In Software Design.

Proficiency in object-oriented programming languages such as C#, Java or JavaScript.

Experience approaching a problem from different angles, analysing pros and cons of different solutions and to be and critical production issues.

Solid experience with RESTful APIs, JSON, XML, and other data interchange formats.

Experience with AWS services and managing CI/CD pipelines.

Experience with a relational database such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, or Oracle
