As a Senior Account Manager in the SMS A2P telecommunications sector, you will play a pivotal role in building and maintaining relationships with key clients, ensuring they receive high-quality service, support, and solutions tailored to their needs. You will drive business growth by understanding client requirements, providing innovative solutions, and achieving sales and revenue targets. This role requires excellent communication, negotiation, and strategic planning skills, as well as a deep understanding of telecommunications products and services.

 

Key Responsibilities:


      Client Relationship Management:


  • Serve as the primary point of contact for key telecom clients, ensuring satisfaction and addressing needs.
  • Build and maintain long-term relationships with clients, stakeholders, and senior executives.

    Sales and Revenue Growth:


  • Drive account growth by identifying upsell, cross-sell, and new business opportunities.
  • Meet or exceed quarterly and annual sales targets and revenue goals.

    Project Management:

  • Oversee the execution of client projects, ensuring they meet timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
  • Coordinate with internal teams to ensure seamless delivery and troubleshooting.

    Strategic Account Planning:
  • Conduct market research and analyze trends to stay competitive in the telecom industry.
  • Develop account strategies to retain and grow the existing client base.

    Reporting and Forecasting:

  • Prepare regular reports on account performance, market trends, and forecasts for senior management.
  • Track and analyze client satisfaction metrics and take corrective actions as needed.

    Cross-Functional Collaboration:

    • Work with marketing, product development, and operations teams to improve offerings and client experience.
    • Serve as a client advocate internally to enhance service and support levels.

     

    Qualifications:

     

    • 2 years of experience in account management, sales, or customer success within the telecom industry preferably in A2P SMS.
    • Proven track record of achieving sales targets and growing account portfolios.
    • Strong knowledge of telecom products, services, and emerging technologies.
    • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
    • Ability to work independently and make data-driven decisions.
