Job description

GoTeam is currently in search of a Financial Accountant to manage financial transactions, support the finance team, and ensure timely payment to suppliers. The schedule follows a morning shift to align with AU Timezone operations.

What You Will Do

  • Manage the end-to-end Accounts Payable function, including following up on invoices from suppliers, processing payment and banking
  • Perform daily bank reconciliation for all entities
  • Assist the Finance team with ad hoc Accounts functions, including but not limited to payroll, accounts receivable, general administration, and office duties to achieve financial requirements
  • Manage and post accruals and prepayments into the General Ledger
  • Provide support and guidance to teams across the business to achieve operational service success
  • Maintain the highest level of system data integrity to ensure credibility of the finance function


Qualifications

  • Extensive knowledge of Xero and excel/google sheets
  • Formal knowledge of end-to-end accounting concepts
  • Understanding of Australian tax and compliance standards
  • Two years' experience in Accounts
  • Experience in a high-volume growth business
  • Experience in maintaining best practice accounts processes
  • Competencies in time management, problem solving, communication, financial acumen, reporting, and analyzing data
  • Attributes such as being proactive, detail-driven, accountable, positive, a problem solver, and collaborative
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business/Accounting
  • Professional Qualification (CPA/Chartered) desirable
