Position Responsibilities

• Help design, implement and maintain cloud-based infrastructure, specifically on AWS
• Build and configure Linux servers, automate tasks, and monitor systems for performance and availability
• Troubleshoot and resolve production issues
• Collaborate with development teams to deploy and test new features and services
• Write and maintain documentation for infrastructure and processes
  
  
  

Qualifications

• 5 years experience in a Linux systems administration or DevOps role
• Good knowledge of Amazon Web Services
• Good understanding of configuration management tools such as Ansible or Puppet
• Good understanding of automation and scripting languages such as Bash or Python
• Understanding of networking concepts and best practices
• Familiarity with monitoring and log management tools
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to learn quickly
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Additional qualifications that would be a plus for this role:
• Strong programming skills
• Familiarity with Infrastructure as code tools, like Terraform or CloudFormation
• Familiarity with containerization and orchestrations tools like Docker and Kubernetes
• Experience with maintaining web-based applications, especially on the LAMP stack
• Good familiarity with the Debian family of Linux distributions, specifically Ubuntu
