Purpose:
The Compensation Analyst will analyze and interpret Floor & Decor’s compensation programs by conducting market analysis of company jobs to determine competitive positioning of the organization’s pay programs. The analyst will participate in annual salary administration programs to include salary structure creation and maintenance/development of incentive and/or salary increase budgets. This role will perform various responsibilities, including market research & analysis, incentive plan calculations, salary increase programs, as well as other ancillary programs.
Minimum Eligibility Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in business administration, human resources, finance or related field, required
0-2 years of work experience in a job with related skill requirements
Proficient with MS Office Word, Excel and PowerPoint and HRIS systems
Advanced Excel skills
Strong analytical and mathematical skills
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
Proficient with research and data analysis
Strong problem-solving skills
Working knowledge of local, state and federal laws (i.e. FLSA, DOL) is a plus
Essential Job Functions:

Analyze positions to ascertain the scope of employee responsibilities and requirements
Review a wide range of relevant compensation data to ensure the company’s compensation policies are competitive with the external market
Provide company data to compensation surveys and analyze results
Manage salary structure creation and maintenance
Ensure company compliance with relevant laws and regulations, including minimum wage tracking and compliance
Handle moderately complex issues and problems, escalating more complex issues as needed
Performs work under general supervision

Infrequent travel required, including air and car travel
Sedentary Work – Ability to exert 10 - 20 pounds of force occasionally, and/or negligible amount of force frequently to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects. Sedentary work involves sitting most of the time but may involve walking or standing for brief periods of time.
