  • Fully remote role in Australia working for a large international enterprise|Introducing new product lines into the Port Machinery industry

Job Description

  • Develop and implement strategic business plans to expand the company's customer base in the port machinery sector.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to meet customer needs and drive growth.
  • Establish and maintain positive business relationships with clients.
  • Analyse market trends and competitor activities to identify opportunities for growth.
  • Organise and participate in industry-specific events and conferences.
  • Produce accurate sales reports and forecasts.
  • Ensure achievement of sales targets in the port machinery department.
  • Contribute to team efforts by accomplishing related results as needed.

The Successful Applicant

A Successful Business Development Manager Should Have

  • Relevant educational qualifications in business, sales, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in selling telehandlers or material handlers
  • Strong knowledge of port machinery and related products.
  • Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
  • A drive for meeting and exceeding sales targets.
  • Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients.
