We are seeking an experienced Senior Manual QA Engineer with a strong background in UI testing for applications with complex business logic and extensive experience in API testing (Postman, Insomnia, or similar tools). This role requires a highly detail-oriented individual who can work independently with minimal supervision and take ownership of the QA process.

Key responsibilities:

  • Perform thorough and detailed testing of frontend elements to ensure they function as expected and align with complex business requirements.
  • Design, execute, and document comprehensive test cases for both UI and API layers, with a focus on identifying edge cases and potential failure points.
  • Collaborate closely with the development team to understand the application architecture and be proactive in pinpointing the root causes of issues.
  • Investigate and analyze reported bugs, suggest potential causes, and contribute to continuous improvement of testing practices.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of extensive experience with API testing tools like Postman or Insomnia and a solid understanding of RESTful API principles.

  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to trace issues back to their source and a proactive approach in identifying and reporting potential risks.

  • Familiarity with React, JavaScript, and general frontend technologies is highly desirable, enabling effective testing of complex frontend components.

  • Ideal candidates will demonstrate the ability to work autonomously, deliver high-quality results with attention to detail, and adapt to dynamic project requirements.
