HM Team Description
We are the Core Authentication team in Microsoft Entra and are responsible for the authentication service serving users and devices everywhere, securing access to your favorite applications and services. We implement and support the core authentication protocols and components, such as sign-in identifiers, user lookup, user consents, and claims. This opportunity will enable you to work on a foundational hyper-scale service that serves millions of users each month. You will have an important role in building and shaping the team's engineering culture, work in a collaborative hybrid work environment, and embrace a live site-first mentality, which is required to run critical services at hyper-scale. Responsibilities
- Design, build, test, debug, and ship high quality features that are used by thousands of businesses around the world.
- Take responsibility for uninterrupted operation of owned features in the production environment with emphasis on timely response, delivery, and satisfaction for all internal and external stakeholders.
- Work across organizations, collaborating with internal partner teams in Identity.
- Build a supportive, diverse, inclusive, and collaborative work environment that brings energy and a sense of empowerment to the engineers on the team.
- Interact with our customers and partners community to empower them and to learn from them.
Qualifications
Required:
Required/minimum qualifications Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, or related technical discipline with proven experience coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python OR equivalent experience.
Additional or preferred qualifications Master's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field with proven experience coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python OR Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field AND 1+ year(s) technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python OR equivalent experience.
Other Requirements
Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role. These requirements include, but are not limited to the following specialized security screenings: Microsoft Cloud Background Check: This position will be required to pass the Microsoft background and Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.
